New cabinet doors are measured accurately and fabricated in Joydom’s carpentry workshop. High-pressure laminate with ABS edging provides a durable, neat finish, with handle and handleless design options available.

Custom kitchen cabinet installation

The process covers site measurement, quotation and laminate selection, workshop fabrication and installation. Depending on quantity, design complexity and material availability, fabrication-to-installation can be completed in as fast as two weeks.

Quotations are generally provided within three working days, while installation typically takes about three to ten working days depending on kitchen size, cabinet quantity and complexity.

Kitchen cabinet modification

Existing cabinets can be modified by removing or adding shelves, creating storage compartments, making space for a dishwasher, resizing openings for appliances, or cutting countertop openings for appliances and plumbing.

Cabinet Hinge Replacement

We supply and replace durable stainless steel and soft-close hinges to improve cabinet door function and extend their lifespan.

• Heavy-duty drawer sliders – Recommended for deeper or larger drawers that need to support heavier items such as pots, pans and plates.

Water leakage around the sink area is one of the most common causes of kitchen cabinet damage. If the damage is limited to certain areas, a full cabinet replacement may not always be necessary. Our carpenter can repair the affected sections to help extend the lifespan of your existing kitchen cabinets.

Depending on the condition of the cabinet, our repair options include:

• Replace damaged plywood sections – Our carpenter will inspect the affected area, assess the existing cabinet structure and determine which damaged wood sections can be removed and replaced.
• Overlay new plywood over damaged sections – In some cases, the existing damaged wood cannot be removed without affecting the cabinet structure. We can install a new plywood layer over the affected area to reinforce and restore the damaged section.

Cabinet Laminate Replacement

Depending on the condition of the existing laminate, we can repair or replace it in different ways:

• Re-glue Peeling Laminate – Suitable for small areas of peeling. Large or badly peeled sections may require replacement. If the underlying wood is damaged, re-gluing alone may not be a long-term solution.
• Laminate Replacement – For badly damaged or peeling laminate. The existing laminate is properly removed before installing a new one.
• Laminate Overlay – Apply a new laminate over the existing cabinet surface to change the colour or refresh your kitchen design without replacing the entire cabinet.
